This painting originally began as a sketch for the San Rafael, Italian Street Painting Festival. The theme was “Spirit of Youth”. The concept was derived by a brainstorming session with friends who were also participating in the festival. I worked out the painting to get a rough idea of light, color, composition. Even though this painting didn’t fit in the direction of my other paintings, I decided to complete it because I had so much time invested already. Details included.
