I was invited by Wonderland Gallery owner and proprietor of Chillin’ Productions, Irene Hernandez Feiks, to create an image of the perfect woman. This image was for her show at Wonderland San Francisco, September, 2010. The show had a great lineup of the top Bay Area figurative painters. This image was my contribution.

The perfect woman was a concept I struggled with for bit. This is what I ultimately ended up with. I’m not sure if she’s in agony or ecstasy. In my fantasies, she is orgasming, as I watch her there in front of me. She’s also breaking out of her box, shedding the role and conformity that she was indoctrinated with. With that image, I mixed the fantasy of the unobtainable, the fantasy of porn and it’s seductive “play button”. I put the play button over her heart, symbolically representative of reality or illusion depending on where you’re at. And that is the beginning, there are many more pieces to this puzzle.  Details included.
