I played with a ‘Raven and Rose’ idea for a while before creating this image. The idea behind the painting was forgiveness (to give before) - and in it, the raven approaches a ring of thorns while carrying a gift of love. His flight may present challenges and pain but he doesn’t waiver from his course. Details included.
